I really didn’t even have to wait for the end of the week for this one. This interactive video (is that even enough to call it , it needs more than that, doesn’t it? ) experiment for the Arcade Fire made it’s rounds on Monday. What could possibly beat this, right? It might be the best thing I’ve seen all year.
The tie in with Google streetview plus the generative drawing bit would have been cool enough but my absolute favourite part is the use of pop-up windows. Even better use of pop-up windows than that browser pong game. It’s like all the things wrong with web sites from a few years back used for good. Love it!
